Queen Honours Bishop Brooks

Anguillian, the Rt. Rev. Errol Brooks, Bishop of the Diocese of the Northeastern Caribbean and Aruba, has been honoured by Her Majesty The Queen.

He has been awarded the OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in the New Year’s Honours List published in London on 31 December 2009.

This was announced in a press release by the Governor’s Office in Anguilla.
His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Allistair Harrison, commented: “I am delighted that Bishop Brook’s contribution to the religious life of Anguilla and the region has been recognised. I offer him my warm congratulations.”
